StandardMouse includes
-
A mobile head
-
Ventral and dorsal pockets for practicing sutures and injections
-
A detachable tail to practice tail vein sample and injections

What is PhantoMouse?
PhantoMouse is a line of anatomically accurate mice designed in silicone to replace mice in the initial training of handling and surgical skills. We currently have two models: a StandardMouse and StereoMouse
StereoMouse
is an enhanced version that includes real-time feedback for training of stereotaxic surgeries

What are out goals?
-
To replace the use of mice for the training of stereotaxic surgeries and other common laboratory practices, including mice handling, subcutaneous injections, and suturing.
-
To refine the quality of animal research by providing animal-free alternatives to train new researchers and providing new basic standards for animal work for IACUCs.
